Design-Build
Designed and built by the same licensed firm.
On a conventional project, the engineer, the drafter, and the builder are three separate firms — and every hand-off costs weeks. We hold both licenses and produce the plans ourselves, so design decisions are made with buildability and budget in view from day one.
How the engagement runs
One contract, one point of accountability
Scope, schedule, and cost live in a single agreement. When a structural question comes up mid-build, the engineer who designed it answers it — there is no coordination lag between firms and no finger-pointing when something needs to change.
Engineering-heavy work is where we win
Hillside foundations, retaining structures, fire rebuilds, and structural remodels are exactly the projects where a Class B–only contractor has to rent engineering. We carry the Class A license, so that scope stays in-house.
